My art is the consequence of my unstable hands in constant desire to explore the technical possibilities of crafting. I have gone through painting, watercolor, printing, jewelry, ceramics and film photography. In each field, I explore the technical implications and limitations of the craft—painting developer onto photosensitive paper, mixing water with latex paint thrown onto a canvas, and stacking stamps of different materials on paper. Furthermore, as an art historian, I am deeply interested in the history of materials and techniques, creating intercultural aesthetic conversations within each piece.
