It is often easy to get swept up in the flow of society to the point where we often ignore what goes on around us. My goal as a photographic artist is to slow us all down and look at the moments, ideas, and peculiarities that surround us. For me Photography is like watching the world through eye holes of an oil painting. I chose photography as my medium in order to stop time and really look at how complex life can be. Whether it's good or bad does not matter, I am more concerned with making anyone who views my work to not take any of it for granted, those tender moments we spend with friends, the conditions of homelessness, the celebration of culture, the beauty of existing. The camera is an extension of my finger and the images I create are and explanation of what we miss in our shuffles through life. I aim to find the humanity in anything or anyone I aim my lens at.
