MUSA asked artists based in the Bay Area to create individual letters for a collaborative poster-- together, in their unique style and presentation, their artwork spells out “Black Lives Matter.” This poster represents diversity in voice and unity in action, it stands for the collective responsibility to protect the lives, rights and voices of historically marginalized and pushed down groups. For this reason, we stand in unity with the Black community and push for the end of a systemic racism and class structure which silences the creativity of emerging artists.

The BLM poster, alongside individual posters created by the artists, are on sale below. We are selling these in a 12x18 inch poster format at a starting price $20, with 100% of proceeds going to the OAACCF Resiliency Relief Program, providing Grants to Small Businesses in Oakland, California; in addition, we will distribute posters to black-owned businesses from the BAOBOB Directory. If you would like to purchase a digital version on a donation base, you can email us at!

We hope that these posters will remain in the walls of homes and shops, reminding us all why we are taking a stand and speaking out.
